Our Rosco 5.56 (NATO) barrels are designed to meet the modern day carbine shooters requirements. We are a long way from our daddy’s “Sporter” AR, and those specs just won’t cut it anymore. From properly managed dwell times for SBR’s, to running Suppressed, or setting up a balanced patrol carbine we have incorporated your needs into our engineering. We have successfully accomplished this by picking the right twist rates, gas port diameters, and barrel materials according to the barrel we are making (not a lazy blanket method). I ordered this barrel on Monday 14 March 2022 and received it on Friday 18 March 2022. I installed it on Saturday and shot it for the first time today on Sunday. I am very impressed with this barrel, it is true quality! I was only going to shoot around 50 rounds through it just to break it in make sure that everything was working properly. The first two five round groups were so good that I decide to zero the optic (Aimpoint Comp M3) at 50 meters. I ran another 60 rounds through it after zeroing the optic and can say that I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. This is my second Rosco barrel and I will eventually buy another in the near future.

I replaced a BA 13.7 that would not cycle 55gr. ammo with this barrel, new gas block and gas tube. Took it to the range to rezero, ran flawlessly with 55 gr. ball, 62 gr. green tip and 77 gr. HPBT. Took about 10 rounds for groups to tighten up but after that groups were tight at 50m. Very happy with the performance from this combination of barrel, gas block and gas tube.
Shipping was very quick and packaging was fantastic from Rosco. Highly recommend this barrel.
