Practical Rifle Zeroing Target

Rosco Manufacturing in cooperation with Kinetic Consulting have teamed up to design a practical rifle zeroing target for condensed distances. The target is designed for a 100 yard sight-in at 25 yards, the goal is to allow shooters with limited range resources an opportunity to initially zero in at a closer distance. We have also provided a series of playing card targets at the bottom of the sheet for you to use for fun drills or marksmanship skill building. Once your rifle is sighted in use these targets (alone or with your friends) to make range time awesome again!

Kinetic Consulting 25/ 100 yd target (1.5” mounts):

Instructions:

Make sure that your firearm is clear, safe, and empty before moving forward of the firing line and/ or setting up the target. Post up the Rosco/ Kinetic target at approximately 25 yards. The shooter will then use the center of the target as their point of aim as they adjust their scope (or red-dot) to the blue dot below the center as their point of impact. It is recommended that you fire in groups of 3 rounds in order to correctly map shooting patterns of your Rosco barreled build. It will facilitate in the isolation of bad hits on the target attributed to shooter movement, jerking, etc. Continue to fire in groups of 3 rounds until you successfully have all of your rounds within the blue circle. When finished with the 25 yard zero place a fresh clean target at 100 yards and confirm your zero. The center of target should now be your point of aim/ point of impact at 100 yards.

This specific target is optimized for AR15 builds running a standard (1.5”) scope mount/ rings. The height is measured from the center of the bore to the center of the rings. Make sure to follow the manufacturers specific instructions on the required methods of operation for the specific scope or red-dot that you decide to use for your build (and sighting in). Always practice safety and follow all posted safety rules at your local shooting ranges. Finally, enjoy your build at the range once it is sighted in and make sure to use the extra targets provided on the bottom of the target. Create fun drills that will build on your precision skills and tag us on our social media pages with your best drill or 5 round group.
