This 16″ M4 5.56 NATO Mid-Length barrel was designed around the USASOC specs for an Improved Upper Receiver Group with a little bit of the Rosco touch as well. The longer gas system allows for a smoother gas curve which leads to managed dwell times. This combo creates a great balance of speed and performance.

My experience has been good. Shipped timely, I ordered a blemished bloodline . I couldn’t find anything that would bother me about the finish where blemishes were. Barrel was machined smoothly and best of all it was dimpled for gas block! I put it on a BCM upper and it shoots beautifully tight groups. I can’t ask for more for what I paid for it! I will use Roscoe again for future builds!

So far really good barrel. I have yet to install it on my recce/predator build. The machining on the barrel looks very nice, I love that there is a dimple for the gas block, I am looking forward to installing it this time around compared to other non dimpled barrels (I use an alignment tool and bore scope to triple check). The blemished areas on the barrel don’t bother me at all, it is going to be covered by a handguard after all. Though I do appreciate the Rosco actually has photos of where the blemishes are and what they look like, that small thing has my respect. It is nice to have transparency.
A side note is the fast shipping, I was pleasantly surprised, also love the packaging, it just looks good. Keep up the good work Rosco!
