Barrel nut fitment is so tight that I had to tap it on with a nylon mallet, then after getting everything mocked up, it couldn’t get it off before i did final assembly on the upper. I had to hit the back edge with a brass punch hard enough that it kinda rolled the edge and deformed enough to mess up the anodizing. Kinda pissed. I had no choice… I was pulling so hard my whole work bench moved.

I had finally purchased the K9 barrel that had been on backorder. I had been looking for a handguard and upper. I decided to stay with Roscoe. I ordered this handguard for my AR build. I liked how the handguard clamped to the barrel nut. I had no issues in installing it to the Roscoe upper I also purchased. It is very well made. I have already put over a hundred rounds through it. It is solid made and functions like it’s supposed to. I am completely satisfied with Roscoe.

The barrel nut and Handguard fit very snug. Very easy install instruction. I’ve recently bought another Handguard and installed it as well. Very solid and worth the $$$. Will def buy again!!!
