Melonite Gas Tubes

Our Rosco Melonite Gas Tubes have an extremely durable Black Nitride finish that increases corrosion resistance, wear resistance, fatigue strength and cosmetic appeal. These gas tubes work great under a handguard because they are more durable than standard gas tubes. Available in pistol, carbine, patrol length, mid-length, and rifle lengths. Does not include a roll pin.

Non-Adjustable Gas Block

Our Rosco Non-Adjustable Gas Blocks are purposely designed to be lined up perfectly with our barrels and gas ports to ensure reliable cycling every time. We have created two options for the end user; Our Non-Adjustable gas block is a direct plug in for any one of our barrels and has provisions for pinning, our Adjustable block picks up where our standard block leaves off and works perfectly for shooters that want to be able to control their gas flow for suppressed applications.

Adjustable Gas Block

Our Rosco Adjustable Gas Block is purposely designed to be lined up perfectly with our barrels and gas ports to ensure reliable cycling every time. These Adjustable gas blocks pick up where our standard block leaves off and works perfectly for shooters that want to be able to control their gas flow for suppressed applications.

Rosco Manufacturing’s “Purebred” series is a testament to precision and quality manufacturing. We took a step back to see how we could create a barrel line that would be a culmination of all the lessons learned through years of making barrels for several OEM’s. The result is a barrel that will produce results out of the box for any shooter that is looking to take their skills above and beyond. All of our Purebred barrels are made from scratch in our Rhode Island facility and start life as a blank piece of 416R stainless steel.

Aside from making our own barrel blanks, and barrel extensions, we also hold ourselves to the most stringent quality standards. This is the only way that we can make sure that we are producing a product that will perform time after time under the demanding of situations. We are setting out to re-define the rules and we plan on letting our work do the talking…

This is my 3rd Rosco barrel, 20″, 16″ & 11.5″ barrel. They make an exceptional barrel, machined to perfection. This is the only Barrel I would ever purchase, they just run like a 5.56 barrel should. Packaging is also 1st class like the barrels themselves. Try one out you’ll feel the same and the turnaround is also 1st class. Extremely happy with all my purchases. Thank you ROSCO.

These Rosco barrels in my opinion are some of the best on the market. This 20″ isn’t my 1st, I have an 11.5 and a 16″ that I purchased thru primary arms, and they run phenomenal. Flat and accurate. From the packaging to the overnight shipping, Rosco is my go to barrel.

Just used this barrel in my DMR build. Everything about this barrel is quality. From the crown to the dimple to set your gas block. I can’t wait to put some rounds down range with this one!!

I have two 13.7 and a 14.5 Purebred build,, these barrels are solid. If you want a rifle that runs pair this barrel with a good gas block and BCG.

I’ve bought a 20″ .223 Wylde barrel for some reach out shooting and am fixing to buy yet another one plus another 16″ barrel because I won’t run anything but Rosco Barrels on any of my AR Platform rifles. They are, IMHO, the best barrels to be had irrespective of the price. If your target NEEDS to be serviced with accuracy, you NEED a Rosco barrel and leave the Brand X to the Also Ran shooters.

This is an updated review for the barrel I bought (20″ Wylde) and built up to be a DMR. I was finally able to get out and shoot the gun with my reloads (which are identical to the Black Hills Gold 68 grain SMK rounds) and after first sighting in the barrel and scope combo, I was able to put rounds 11-15 into a group measuring a nice 0.50″ using my uncalibrated eyeball to estimate the group. I wish I could attach a photo of the target but I see no option for that. Regardless, as I’ve stated before, for EVERY rifle I build that I want to connect at any distance ACCURATELY, the Launching Tube will be a Rosco Barrel until such time that someone can hand me an identical barrel that outshoot these Bad Boys. If only I was shooting professionally. I’d stump for Rosco probably for the cost of barrels alone they are THAT DAMNED GOOD!! Keep ’em coming, Rosco!!

Just received my barrel today. Pillaged a couple of other AR’s for parts, wrapped a piece of .0015 shimstock around the extension for a tight fit. Pinned it to one of my tried and proven lowers. Scrubbed her out with some diesel, wiped her out and ran 5 rounds through and scrubbed her out again. Put up some paper at 50 yds. A couple of rounds and I was on the paper, a couple more brought me and this peep sight to a point about 1.5″ low at 50 yds. Down range was a 6″ plate at 150yds. My front sight just covered the plate letter fly and got a report. Time to scrub.
When you get yours, be sure to look down the pipe and take notice of how crisp the riflings are . I was impressed.
And so far, once I got it on the paper, with every sight adjustment every shot was spot on. Hats off to ROSCO, nice work!
