The K9 11.5 offers a proprietary patrol length gas system that is smoother than carbine length, more reliable than mid-length. Features an optimized gas port to run reliably suppressed and/or unsuppressed. The K9 continuous taper is the most effective profile to dissipate heat from hard use. With weight shifted to the back of the barrel, modern attachments on the front of the rifle create a perfectly balanced and better handling rifle. Updated target crown carried over from the Purebred series with improved harmonics, fit and finish. We recommend a minimum handguard length of 10″ with this barrel.

Smooth, accurate, and fantastic balance, all things I expect from Rosco. My build has a Holosun laser, surefire vampire, and a Sandman S with e-brake. It balances just ahead of the magwell. Shooting it today yielded 2.5moa with cheap 55gr loads and 0.75-1moa with some Gold Dot. Followup shots were too easy and the recoil was negligible when paired with an H1 Super 42 buffer. The K9 barrels have been flawless in my testing and this 11.5 continues the trend!

Awesome barrel! Function, fit, and finish. Will forever use Rosco! I now have 3 of their barrels and will use their barrels for all future builds. Never had an issue or complaint with Rosco. Any barrel any size if it’s Rosco it’s dependable and reliable without a doubt. If you buy one you won’t be disappointed.

This barrel is better than many much expensive options out there. The finish is flawless. The fit and tolerances are tight. I was concerned about the patrol length gas system on a 11.5″ barrel not having enough dwell time to properly cycle with different ammunition, but there was nothing to be worried about. In fact, I used an adjustable gas block and I didn’t have to open it even half way.
This barrels makes for a very smooth and accurate weapon. It shoots sub MOA groups all day, assuming I do my part and feed it proper ammo. I am in love with it. I highly recommend it to everyone.

The k9 patrol series barrels are probably one of the most underrated barrels on the market! I stand by that comment! I picked up this 11.5” kinetic consulting (with the cookie) barrel once it was released because of how surprised I was with the original 12.5” SAGE barrel performed. I shot a .5” group at 100yds with that barrel the first time out. So when this barrel arrived I was pretty certain it was going to be similar in performance. How did it do? Well it’s accurate! It didn’t group as well as the 12.5” but it did hold a .79” group and it’s got a pleasant recoil impulse. Setup is using an a5 buffer system with a Tubbs flat wire spring and a blitzkrieg pcc 9mm hydraulic buffer (those who know this witchcraft know what I’m talking about. It’s awesome!) over these k9 barrels kick a$$ I’ve got one of each now. And I have been increasingly impressed with how well they perform over all other options. They eat everything cycle beautifully (I am running a specters CAT WB, OCL polonium and a Rex silentium mg7 as well as a griffin armament explorr and recce5k on them and they ALL function perfectly! I can’t wait to get my 16” intermediate length barrel and hatchet barrel today to test!
