Husky 14.5” Barrel Phosphate/Chrome 5.56 NATO (Mid-Length)

From: Original price was: $191.00.Current price is: $152.80.

Our Husky Series gives you our take on a ‘Modern HBAR’. While this barrel isn’t exactly heavy in weight, only a few ounces more than our Bloodline 14.5″ GVT barrel, the ‘Husky’ profile helps defeat the heat and reduce barrel whip. This barrel is phosphate coated with a chrome lined chamber and bore. Button rifled for that Rosco accuracy!

Non-Adjustable Gas Block, v2

Our v2 Non-Adjustable Gas Blocks feature the same 'Bloodline' dependability, with improvements for the modern shooter.  We added a knockout hole at the front of the gas block to aide in removing the gas tube. Also featuring improved tolerances and finishes, making the v2 Gas Block a staple for years to come.

  1. Grant (verified owner)

I paid $110 for this barrel on sale and it’s excellent. Sub 2 MOA groups out of the box, exactly what I expect from Rosco. As a previous owner of a Bloodline 16″, this company continues to deliver affordable quality products.

Put this system (barrel, gas block and tube) on a work gun and it shoots like a dream. Passed it around the team and everyone was impressed. Does great with heat dissipation during fast cadence and is super accurate. Highly recommend!!

  3. JNB990

Bought for an autorifle project, but ended up on dedicated thermal upper. Built into Bushmaster upper with drilled and pinned Hodge gas block, KAK 13″ mlok rail. Also have the 12.5 Husky, which although is just as accurate as this one, is overgassed in my opinion. This one prints 10 shot groups at 100 yards with Bonefrog 5.56 77 grain Barnes OTM, Sierra TMK, Barnes 70 grain TSX, and Hornady Frontier 75 grain T2 in the 1.5 to 2.0″ range (with bipod, bag, and 5x PA microprism). It seems to be lightly gassed, as it wasn’t cycling reliably with an H2 and Sprinco White. Runs perfect with H2 and standard carbine spring. Nice low cyclic rate on super safe. Great general purpose barrel. Groups stay tight when barrel is nice and hot. I feel confident that this barrel can handle the rough treatment I put my barrels through, and not wear out too fast.
